More on Lost
OK so I know I keep posting about Lost but it isn't going to stop any time soon so get used to it. Entertainment Weekly has a great recap with details on hints and clues in last night's episode online HERE.
Don't read it if you haven't watched the episode yet but once you have seen it do be sure to read at least the bottom section where various Biblical/literary/pop-culture references are dissected. While some people (ahemm.. my wife) thought this episode didn't move the story along much, reading about these clues points out how this episode set up some very interesting/monumental things that may be on the horizon. Enjoy.

BKV Brutha
So Brian K Vaughan has been making comic book magic with titles like "Y the Last Man," "The Runaways," "Dr. Strange - Oath," etc for years now but tonight he makes his TV scripting debut as co-writer of Lost episode Catch-22, a flashback for Desmond Hume who is now tied with John Locke for my favorite character on the show. To say I am excited would be putting it lightly, very lightly.

It's Triple G Wednesday - Good Grief Galactus
So if "Ain't it Cool News" (am I the only one who feels like a fucking moron everytime I have to say the name of that website?) is to be believed, the new Fantastic Four movie just got a whole lot crappier. Apparently Galactus - only one of the coolest character designs ever to spring forth from the godlike hands of Jack "The King" Kirby - will be appearing in the movie as a cloud. Yes, a cloud. Not only that, but a cloud voiced by Lawrence Fishburn. Word has it that the Fishburn info may be an unfounded rumour so let's hope this is all some horribly delayed sick April Fool's joke and that the big purple bucket head will be making a full on appearance in all his majestic planet eating glory.
Read all about it HERE.
And now some pictures of Galactus as he should look, followed by a photo of a cloud. You tell me which is cooler.

SHHH, My Baby's Gonna Be a Librarian!
So, big news at the Lewis House - Priscilla was just accepted into the graduate studies distance learning program in the College of Information Sciences at Florida State where she is gonna bring home a Masters of Library Science! In case you don't know, this is a lifelong dream of hers so obviously we are more than a little stoked. Also it's her birthday this Sunday (4/22) so if you see her be sure to say congrats and happy birthday!

Hulk sorry, Hulk try harder this time!
So you have probably already read about this on some other more timely blog, but a cold/vertigo/alien-eggs-in-my-stomach have been keeping me away from the computer for the past few days. Anyway, in case you hadn't heard, Edward Norton is set to play Bruce Banner/The Hulk in the upcoming Marvel reboot. Hopefully a new director and a proven actor can undo some of the damage that Ang Lee did with his mind numbingly wretched attempt at bringing the big green powerhouse to theaters.

GO SEE GRINDHOUSE NOW!
Apparently no one went to see Grindhouse this weekend. Wake the fuck up people, the movie is genius. See it NOW.

Enough with the Imus crap already
OK so Don Imus is clearly a dipshit for calling the Rutgers Women's Basketball team "nappy headed ho's" (if you haven't heard about this then turn on the TV for 15 seconds) BUT there is no reason to make it the top story in national news when we have a President who lied to get us into a war, continues to cover up massive scandals, etc. I could go on for hours listing all of the things that are more important than a talk radio host saying something stupid but let's just end this here and move the fuck on people.

The Raping
What the fuck is wrong with the world that movies like The Reaping get a wide release while films like Children of Men, Pan's Labrynth and The Fountain struggle to get themselves in front of an audience? Seriously. The Reaping is fucking awful. For real.
On a positive note, Grindhouse is every bit as amazing as we all hoped it would be! Details to come in this week's Action 5 on Thursday.

GRINDHOUSE
Ok seriously, Travis needs to stop beating me to the punch on the blog posts. I was about to post this Grindhouse promo when I noticed he had already posted it. Damn you Central Time Zone!!!
Anyway, in case you haven't already peeped this on his blog check it out here... oh and I am pretty sure this one isn't safe for work. Unless you work somewhere totally awesome like me - home!!
Seriously I couldn't be more excited about Grindhouse this weekend! Oh and did you notice Cabin Fever director Eli Roth in the lover's lane scene? I am a nerd.

My Sweet Lord
Travis already covered this brilliantly but I wanted to post this video to point out how creepy and bile filled the weird little Catholic man in this video is.
C-R-E-E-P-Y!
Oh and seriously, it is pretty freaking impressive that the guy sculpted this out of chocolate.

Ultimate Update
Activision's Marvel Ultimate Alliance for the Xbox 360 ruled my world for months after it was released and now, just as I was starting to get bored with it, there is an update coming to Xbox Live! Here is the info from Marvel.com:
"Starting April 10, Xbox 360 gamers will have the opportunity to download four new heroes--Hulk, Hawkeye, Cyclops and Nightcrawler--along with four playable villains--Dr. Doom, Magneto, Sabretooth and Venom--for Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Each character comes complete with new signature powers, costumes, dialog, conversations and Achievement points.
As any hardcore 360 player will tell you, it's all about the Achievements and with the new characters come 12 new Achievements for a total of 250 additional Gamerscore points. Also coming to Xbox Live are downloadable gamer pics and themes for the new characters."
KILLER.
Check out these screen shots then head over HERE for new images and info all this week!
