The Raping

What the fuck is wrong with the world that movies like The Reaping get a wide release while films like Children of Men, Pan's Labrynth and The Fountain struggle to get themselves in front of an audience? Seriously. The Reaping is fucking awful. For real.

On a positive note, Grindhouse is every bit as amazing as we all hoped it would be! Details to come in this week's Action 5 on Thursday.

For real. Also, I'm kinda miffed that not that many people went to see Grindhouse. People that don't think that shit is great are not good people, plain and simple.

Who knew R-rated bloodbaths weren't going to open well on Easter weekend?!

...unless your R-rated bloodbath is directed by Mel Gibson, that is...

hahaha well said Travis!

It really is depressing that Grindhouse did so poorly. I mean seriously, the movie is fucking hands down rad.

I think a good double feature would be these two movies:

1) a schoolbus full of cheerleaders on their way to an away game. The bus MUST break down somewhere in the desert and the coach (who is driving) goes to get help. When she doesn't return the panicky girls start deciding who should go next. One by one they dissapear into the desert night.
The next morning we find out that on the same desert road another bus carrying insane murderers to the penitentiary was traveling on *gasp* the same desert highway! It also crashed when little Willie and gnarly bob overtook the one guard assigned to watch the back of the bus.

2)a High School pricincple (female) is determined to stop the spread of drugs in her classrooms. To this end she has been promoting a variety of "positive" after school activities like carnivals, fun fairs and dances. The resident hippies at the school are tired of "the man" harshing their mellow so what happens? They DOSE the principals coffee when she isn't looking and a whole bunch of radical, groovy new rules are implemented! Hilarious, LSD driven hi-jinks ensue!
