Tonight's the night

At 7:19pm I am camped out on the couch with my loyal sidekick Josie (the cat), a stack of comic books, the laptop (duh) and if needed (the odds are good) a bottle of Kentucky Gold (only the finest for Ryanetics). Election night TV coverage is almost always entertaining as newscasters attempt to fill time with "in-depth" analysis as the night grinds on. Something about watching talking heads tread water is limitlessly entertaining for a politics nerd like me.

For those of you reading this in Athens you can find local election results HERE. They purport to be posted in real time though no info has been uploaded as of yet.

So, here I sit alternating between CNN and the growing stack of comics that I have been neglecting for the last few weeks, wondering what the night will hold. As of now not much action to report but with 3 1/2 hours of Wolf Blitzer and Anderson Cooper then a live Daily Show/Colbert Report election special to look forward to, things are looking up. Fingers crossed for Heidi at home and a wave of blue across the country!
