Hey everybody, Bin Laden's back - and just in time for the midterms!
Well, you knew it was going to happen - it was only a matter of time before the House of Bush paraded out Bin Laden (who they apparently only care about during the month of October in even numbered years) to scare the lemmings back to the polls.
Is it just me or is it redonkulously obvious how desperate the GOP is in the face of impending defeat? The ad posted below will start airing on cable TV this weekend - as much as the content infuriates me, I also feel compelled to point out that its pretty hard to figure out what the hell is going on what with the tiny type and all. Seriously though, this kind of ham fisted fear mongering is corrosive to the very nature of so called "American Values" and proves yet again that as long as we let the House of Bush run the show, the terrorists are winning.

Ok, um, the idea of Lemmings being creatures that will follow their own even if it means their own destruction is a myth created by Disney. Thus, does the use of this descriptor for voting patterns mean that the voting patterns are a myth? Certainly not.
It means that our language and the use of certain words has been quietly corrupted into falsehood, and widely accepted by the public, by a media-created myth driven by a manipulative corporate culture.
Sounds like the US in 2006 doesn't it?
And, at times like this I ask myself, 'what would Derek Zoolander do'? (WWDZD?)

To be fair, Disney also created the myth that animals can talk, that Davey Crocket and Daniel Boone won the Alamo and that a bunch of hot people can survive a plane crash to live on a mysterious island populated by dangerous new urbanists. But seriously, lemmings actually do jump off of cliffs to their own death as a result of their short-sightedness. Hmmm... could that be the point I was making?
But I do agree with you on the myth promoting manipulative corporate culture (see: Fox News).
