Normally I am not too down with the whole capital punishment thing but when you do something like this, you deserve nothing less than a very public dismembering. Seriously, what the fuck is wrong with people?

True but tearing heads of kittens is wack as well. Ok I take back my original thoughts in my post and have a new idea... since the kitten didn't stand a chance against the guy how about we let him square off against a tiger and if he wins then he can go free? That seems more fair and probably more entertaining to watch, if'n you like the whole Roman thing.
Yes, but, as you know, the state has to operate by different standards than screwed-up individuals.
